Unless they use a certified and calibrated level to confirm that the deck of a trailer is flat, then the use of a plum Bob to check for overhang is null and at best irresponsible. Mr. And Ms. Superdot need get off their Bureaucratic high horse and focus on real issues rather than the width of tire bulge on a piece of freight. If tire to tire is legal without permits on the road, then it shouldn't matter on a trailer, whether it's perfectly centered or slightly off

I have always had a good experience each time I have stopped at this POE. Every officer that I have interacted with here has treated me with courtesy and helpfulness. I want to extend my appreciation to all of the Troopers who operate this Port. It means alot to know that if I give respect, I can count on receiving respect in return. Thank You!

This port of entry has a huge parking lot, and despite being right next to the highway, the K-rail barrier works as an excellent sound barrier. Making it a quiet place to spend the night.

A little to strict in my opinion we are trying are best… but they take all of are profit for being just a little over weight. They need real truckers to be officers. Or fine the brokers for lying about their freight.# American Frieght inc.

Can't even clean your parking lot of snow and ice, how could anyone possibly trust you with an interstate. Clear the roads and use salt and sand to make them safe. Wind?build a wall to break it. This state and everyone involved in road care decisions should be ashamed!! Is funding the issue? Open road tolling is the answer. Instead of making your residents foot the bill the users will do it. This is one of if not the busiest truck routes in the country keep it open!
